Objective

The Global Bond folio was developed for investors seeking international exposure, higher income, higher growth, and higher risk than U.S. government bonds.

Strategy

The Global Bond folio consists of ETFs that invest in foreign bond markets.

These bonds provide diversification and potentially higher yields than the U.S. bond markets because bond yields in different countries can move independently of one another. Buying foreign bonds directly can be difficult and costly for individual investors. This folio offers broad exposure to the global bond markets.

* Returns reflect unfunded model performance from the Inception Date to the present. Your returns may deviate significantly from the values displayed here, due to many factors, including how long after a strategy has been updated that you place orders to update your holdings. No membership or trading fees (other than the indirect cost of the bid-ask spread applicable whenever a transaction is conducted) are included in reported performance.

Steps to Create This Folio

  1. We constructed this folio by selecting funds defined as global bond ETFs by Morningstar. These ETFs invest in U.S. and international bonds and securities of corporations, governments, or municipalities. They may invest in bonds of low credit quality or derivatives.
  2. We then selected ETFs with low expense ratios that met certain volume, asset level and other requirements.
  3. We equally weighted each global bond ETF in the folio.

Number of Securities

The number of securities in the folio will vary.

Update Frequency

Quarterly.

If the characteristics of the Folio have changed substantially, the securities included may change. Also, corporate actions, such as a merger, or other events may cause changes to the securities held at any time. Your returns may deviate significantly from the values displayed here, due to many factors, including how long after a folio has been updated that you place orders to update your holdings. RTGs are updated using market data from multiple sources including Zacks Investment Research ( www.zacks.com ), International Data Corporation (IDC) ( www.idc.com ), and other suppliers.
