RTGs:
Retail REIT
Objective
The Retail REIT folio was developed for investors seeking long-term growth and income with higher volatility.
Strategy
The Retail REIT folio consists of companies engaged in constructing shopping centers, outlet centers, small neighborhood centers, and urban retail locations.
REITs could provide investors with diversification through a more liquid way to invest in real estate and potentially receive dividends. If consumer spending grows, retail oriented construction and Retail REIT’s could benefit.

Steps to Create This Folio
- We selected all companies with primary business operations in the Retail REITs industry, as defined by the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) that were publicly listed on U.S. stock exchanges.
- We ranked the securities according to market capitalization and selected the top 30 securities with the highest market capitalizations. If 30 securities were not available, the complete list of securities was added to the folio.
- We equally weighted all securities in the folio.
Number of Securities
There are generally between 20 and 30 securities in the folio; however, the number may vary.
Update Frequency
Quarterly.
If the characteristics of the Folio have changed substantially, the securities included may change. Also, corporate actions, such as a merger, or other events may cause changes to the securities held at any time. Your returns may deviate significantly from the values displayed here, due to many factors, including how long after a folio has been updated that you place orders to update your holdings. RTGs are updated using market data from multiple sources including Zacks Investment Research ( www.zacks.com ), International Data Corporation (IDC) ( www.idc.com ), and other suppliers.
