RTGs:
Mid-Cap Growth
Objective
The Mid-Cap Growth folio was designed for investors seeking aggressive long-term capital appreciation with volatility generally higher than the overall U.S. equity market.
Strategy
The Mid-Cap Growth folio consists of companies with high earnings growth potential as compared to the overall market. Mid-cap companies are defined as having market capitalizations between $1.7 billion and $11 billion USD.
This folio focuses on the long-term growth potential of medium-sized companies with attractive growth prospects. These companies tend to have successfully weathered their start-up years, offer proven products and services, have more seasoned management teams, and can often finance their own growth. Growth stocks generally have higher valuations and lower dividend yields than stocks of slower-growth or cyclical firms. Growth stocks also tend to be more volatile than value stocks. This folio’s broad diversification makes it potentially less volatile than more concentrated mid-cap growth mutual funds.
